Mia Kallio
Biography
Mia Kallio was born in Helsinki in 1974. She moved to Switzerland with her family as a child. In 1996, she graduated from the University of Basel with a degree in quantum physics. After graduating, she worked in science and technology, but she always had a passion for art.
At the age of 40, Mia Kallio decided to return to her childhood dream and enrolled in art school. She studied painting, printmaking, and sculpture. After graduating, she began exhibiting in Switzerland, Germany, and France.
Mia Kallio is an example of how a person can achieve their dreams and be successful at any age. She inspires people to be creative and shows that it is never too late to start over.
A series of four paintings titled "Quantum Leap," which is being exhibited for the first time in Finland at the Mai-Art Gallery, is the artist's reflection on the essence of artificial intelligence, the new opportunities and dangers associated with its advent in our lives. Kallio's paintings convey a sense of the complexity and mystery of artificial intelligence, as well as its potentially ambiguous impact on the future of humanity.
