  • Artist’s Statement

    My art tries to go deeper than the surface and to depict states of mind, to evoke emotions. Through abstraction, I create mental views that bring life to the viewer, with its power I try to describe people's experiences of success, passion, success, everyday life, love, and nice moments.

  • Biography

    Born in 1965 in Leningrad. First education: engineer-economist. Emigrated to Finland. After moving to Finland she mastered many professions, worked as a cook, logistician, was involved in social activities, ran for deputy. From 2011 to 2015, she studied fine art and photography at Saimaa University of Applied Sciences. Her dissertation is devoted to the study of immigrant identity. In 2015, she additionally attended the course "Monumental and Public Art" at Saimaa University of Applied Sciences. Currently she lives in Imatra and works as a dental assistant.
