Here's a little bit about my art journey

I started my painting with watercolor back in the day, but I wanted to try other techniques. I got a good opportunity for that after I got into the Imatra visual arts school evening course, there I became most interested in graphics and especially woodcuts. They became important to me and I did them for a long time.
When my life situation changed, I moved to an apartment building and the big jobs had to be forgotten. However, the paints and brushes followed along. I started thinking about smaller works and realized that acrylic colors would suit them as well.
This winter was unusually snowy and beautiful, which is where I got the idea for the paintings about the seasons. From Mai-Art, I also got a window exhibition space for April and that also encouraged me to paint.
I am directing painting in the "Akvarellitiim" and next year our group will be active for 20 years, which I am proud of.
I started with watercolors, and I think I'll continue making art with it, because I'm not about to stop yet, I'm only 85.
I have really enjoyed working with art, I spent 20 years teaching painting at Kansalaisopisto and on top of that art courses and
    painting trips around the world.
Of course, this age must be taken into account, as the old saying goes, "Man decides, God adjusts".
