Vladimir Kozin
Biography
Born 1953 in Lvov. In 1980 graduated from the architectural and decorative sculpture sector of the Vera Mukhina Higher Art and Industrial School in Leningrad. Member of the Union of Artists since 1984. Member of the Free Culture Saint Petersburg Humanitarian Foundation. From 1996 to 2002 a member of the Brotherhood of New Blockheads. Originator of the concept for a travelling Museum of the Mousetrap of Contemporary Art and of gallery 10 х 15. Participant in special projects of the Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art and in the parallel program of Manifesta 10 in 2014. Lives in Tosno and Narva, works in Saint Petersburg. The artist's works are in numerous state and private collections, including:
